OUR MISSION AS A LEAGUE is to promote, encourage, operate and direct football programs for the youth in Stickney and the surrounding areas of Cook County, Illinois. In an effort to support the physical, mental, social, educational, and spiritual welfare of all our student-athletes in our programs, to promote the ideals of good citizenship and good sportsmanship through organized athletics, the SYF Board (a team of volunteers) commits their time, technical and professional expertise, to provide a fun, safe and supportive environment for an organized youth football league. Through the SYF the dedicated members/mentors of the board feel that by guiding our student athletes in the following attributes education, commitment, teamwork and leadership we can mold a new generation of positive, productive citizens to our community.
We offer an off season program to help the kids understand the fundamentals of the sport; promote a team environment with their fellow WOLVES and to get them ready for the Football Season.
